The CARD Psychology and Healthcare Clinic provides assessment and intervention services to the general public and existing CARD clients. Starting a therapeutic intervention often requires a diagnosis from a medical doctor or licensed psychologist, so an assessment is typically the first step in the remediation process. However, there is more to it than just that. Assessments also provide a wealth of information to guide intervention efforts. In fact, our assessment support services help assure that every client at CARD receives an annual evaluation to help guide treatment progress. Providing comprehensive evaluations and helping maintain updated assessment data for our clients are important parts of the CARD Difference.
Assessments establish a baseline of functioning and provide the appropriate diagnosis to initiate intervention services. Most importantly, assessments provide specific recommendations to guide intervention efforts. The CARD Psychology and Healthcare Clinic offers a range of assessment services to meet individual needs.
The CARD Psychology and Healthcare Clinic offers various intervention services to support socialization, executive functioning development, and social-emotional functioning. Our intervention services can be applied to support an array of academic and work related difficulties.
