CARD Adults
CARD Adults is an extension of services offered by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD).
We offer comprehensive services utilizing the principles and procedures of ABA to provide adults and older teens on the autism spectrum with programs that are tailored to meet individual needs, skills, interests, and goals. Our intervention program is designed for adults age 15 years and older with a current or previous diagnosis of ASD. Individuals do not have to be former patients of the children’s division at CARD in order to take advantage of our comprehensive programming. We proudly serve all adults, regardless of their skills and challenges.
Services are tailored to meet individualized short and long-term goals and are provided across settings, including CARD centers, home, workplace, and the community. CARD Adults is focused on encouraging successful transition to independent living, employment, relationships, and community integration.
Our Program includes the following:
- Behavior Management and Support
- Transition to Adult Services
- Adaptive and Independent Living Skills
- Vocational and Employment Services
- College Preparation and Support
- Psychological Services
